Since 2017, Gulf Atlantic Industrial Equipment has been a proud member of Masaba’s dealer network.
Masaba, Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of bulk material handling solutions, welcomed Gulf Atlantic Industrial Equipment to their network of equipment dealers in 2017. With shared values, the companies work together to offer high quality, rugged equipment and turnkey services to material handling operations in Florida markets.
“Adding Masaba to our product portfolio was an exciting step in expanding our bulk material handling equipment resources, said Bobby Carroll, president of Gulf Atlantic. “
Masaba was formed in 1962 by Harold Higman, Jr., with a mission to design and build rugged equipment that withstands the demanding environments of the aggregate and mining industries. Harold’s son, Jerad, took over the company in 1999. Growing up working side-by-side with his father, he learned what it takes to make equipment that not only works, but lasts.
Masaba’s wide range of products includes portable and stationary crushing, screening, and wash plants, as well as a complete line of conveyors, surge bins, and feeder hoppers – all designed and manufactured specifically for the customer’s needs.
“Masaba’s product reputation of strength and reliability comes from our high level of engineering and quality manufacturing processes as much as it does from our team of employees who take great pride in their work, knowing they’re helping build America’s infrastructure,” said Jerad Higman, chief executive officer of Masaba.
Gulf Atlantic Industrial Equipment, founded in 1995, is a leading distributor of aggregate, concrete, and material handling equipment in the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. Our team of professionals is backed by 65 years of experience in the industry – experience that helps industrial operations troubleshoot problems, select the right solutions for their application, and save time and money.
“Combining the two companies in a partnership is a win-win. Masaba’s technical knowledge and first-class engineering department coupled with their ability to custom manufacture heavy duty, rugged equipment gives us a big advantage when it comes to designing, building, and installing material handling solutions for our customers,” said Carroll.
Gulf Atlantic’s turnkey conveyor installation projects have increased dramatically since joining Masaba’s dealer network. And there’s a lot of talk about the most recent radial and overland conveyor installation at an aggregate yard in Central Florida that moves crushed granite at rates up to 2,500 TPH. “Customers appreciate the rugged and innovative design of Masaba equipment as well as the ability to collaborate together to create custom solutions, allowing them to get the most out of their equipment investment,” said Carroll.
