BinMaster Standard Capacitance Probes

BinMaster Standard Capacitance Probes

Use BinMaster Standard Capacitance Probes (PROCAP I and PROCAP II) to detect the presence or absence of material in bins, silos, tanks, hoppers, chutes and other vessels where solid, liquid or slurry materials are stored. Capacitance probes detect material in contact with the probe by sensing minute changes in capacitance caused by the difference in the dielectric constant of the material versus the air. They feature interference-free operation, simple calibration, and fail-safe functionality. The probes perform accurately in dusty, sticky or clinging materials and have Class II hazardous location ratings.

Description

BinMaster Standard Capacitance Probes (PROCAP I & PROCAP II) come with a heavy duty, stainless steel 8-inch probe. The solid 1-inch diameter probes provides increased surface area for maximum sensitivity and performance. They are suitable for use in temperatures up to 500 degrees, making them ideal for fly ash and clinker applications. BinMaster Capacitance Probes can also be used for level detection in heavy materials such as coal, aggregates, grains, or other materials with high bulk density.
