EZ SKIRT is a simple and effective two-part conveyor skirting system that prevents dust and spillage while reducing cleanup and maintenance costs. From severe duty hard-rock installations to self-adjusting rubber than contours and flexes with the belt to prevent dust leakage, the EZ SKIRT Conveyor Skirting System can be set up in a broad variety of configurations and can easily be retrofit to existing chutewalls. The main variables to consider are:

Height of skirtboard above belt
Type of material conveyed
Trough angle of idlers

Install by simply mount 5′ stainless steel hangers to the chutewall, insert the skirting “T” lugs into the serrated channels, and adjust the skirting to the belt.

General Application Guidelines

Large lump sizes require heavier skirting (3/4″ or 1″) generally in 60 durometer.
Fine or dusty materials may require a skirt that will lay on or conform to the belt (1/2″ or 3/4″).
Softer 40 durometer rubber in 3/4″ also works well for fine materials.
4″ hangers are always recommended unless there is not room for installation; 2″ hangers are used for tight areas.
