BinMaster Mini Vibrating Rod

The BinMaster Mini Vibrating Rod (CVR-625) is ideal for small bins, hoppers, feeders, and other space-constrained applications. Its compact design provides reliable point level sensing and can be conveniently mounted through a 1.25-inch NPT mounting socket on the top or side of a vessel for high, medium or low-level indication. Remote electronics via a point level alarm panel are available to alert bin levels for four to 24 individual sensors.

Description

The BinMaster Mini Vibrating Rod is an economical, single rod, compact point level control that has been designed for use in small bins and hoppers. The small yet rugged design allows the CVR-625 to be used in pellets, grain or other dry granular solid applications where other level sensors simply won’t fit. The signal from the electronic circuit of the BinMaster Mini Vibrating Rod excites the single rod of the instrument to vibrate on its resonance frequency of approximately 460 Hz. When material covers the rod of the probe, the vibration stops. This is sensed by the electronic circuitry which forces its output relay to switch. When the blade becomes uncovered, the vibration will restart and the relay will switch back.
