Principle Operation: A point level switch monitors material level in the silo. When material level reaches full, the point level switch signals the control panel. The overfill light and horn will activate (enclosed in the control panel is a variable time relay). When the preset time is reached, a signal is sent to the solenoid activating the pinch valve which stops material flow and prevents serious damage to silos, equipment, and employees.
