Description
NAVCO Dump Truck Vibrators can be attached to a dump body, hopper trailer or belly dump trailer to increase material flow, eliminate “dead” cargo, and improve safety during dumping. Portable mounting can also be used so the vibrator can be moved to various troublesome locations or even different trucks. Dump Truck Vibrators are most often attached to existing air lines for operation. They are ideal for use on mobile concrete mixers, volumetric trucks, and gunite trucks – promoting a continuous and reliable flow in a wide range of trucking applications.
Features & Benefits
- Dump time can be reduced by 50% depending on the material
- Stubborn material that remains in the hopper or bed is more easily and completely removed, eliminating “dead” cargo
- Complete unloading without tailgate banging, lift bouncing, braking, or jerking
- Efficient discharge at reduced dump angles and minimized top sticking means reduced tip over potential
- Continuous flow at tailgate means an even spread during mobile unloading
Easy Installation
- Dump Truck Body: Mount vibrators approximately 1/4 down the length of the bed, toward the front. One unit on each side of the mast is most effective.
- Hopper Bottom Trailers: Mount vibrators as close to the hopper discharge opening as possible using NAVCO mounting plates and bolts. One vibrator per hopper is sufficient in most cases. Note: If the vibrators will be used while the truck is in motion, an alternate air reservoir is required to assure adequate air for the brakes.
